Girls' day out today. Carolyn and I headed to Kuranda Markets then Cairns Botanical Gardens today on our own as we knew the others would probably be rather bored by our antics. Unfortunately, we were also stuck with shopping lists from the guys and had to go hunting for things for them so our time in the gardens was cut a little short and we were only able to spend an hour or so there, so much longer was needed to see it all. It was fantastic.
The girls (juniors) spent the day with their dad's and were taken out to lunch. I think a good day was had by all.
Carolyn and I got back about 7pm with four hungry mouths to feed expecting dinner to be cooked. A chicken curry cook-off was had and everyone was satisfied.
